History at the Crossroads
History at the Crossroads: The Activists and Artists of Abolition Hall is a short documentary created to raise awareness about the 250-year legacy of the Maulsby, Corson and Hovenden families and their historic property at the corner of Germantown Pike and Butler Avenue in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Designed to be screened at local venues such as libraries, auditoriums and conference rooms, we created a film that could be easily viewable, shareable, and act as an effective call for action in preserving this important and one-of-a-kind site.
Through the weaving together of interviews with historians, the use of archival images, photographs and beautifully composed b-roll of the property and surroundings, we were able to bring history to life while educating local residents and furthering efforts for preservation.
Working closely with the Alumni Office of St. Joseph’s Preparatory School, ProCine produced a special tribute for their 2016 Villiger Award recipient, former Philadelphia mayor Michael Nutter. Through the use of 4K with our standard 2-camera interview package, we were able to create a variety of different shots as well as provide dual system audio recording for the clear and faithful capturing of his natural conversation. With the use of music, photos and graphic slates, this tribute to Michael Nutter was a major highlight for the attendees of the Villager Awards dinner and a wonderful preface to his acceptance speech that would come later in the evening.

Keys of Change: Past, Present and Future
“Keys of Change: Past Present and Future” is a short documentary created for the Diocese of Trenton Parent Teacher Association’s 90th Anniversary Celebration. The aim was to produce a 10-15 minute film that told the history of the PTA through the voices of those who had been influential to the organization in the past and those who are participating today to shape it’s future in the 21st century.
Through the use of cinematic, one-camera interviews and an archive of photographs that spanned nine decades, ProCine was instrumental in organizing the story of the PTA to tell it in a concise, thoughtful and emotional way.
Our work with Early Head Start at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia consisted of creating a short film to highlight the many successes of this highly regarded program for inner city families. Through the testimonials of the women and family members who participate, the video documents the positive difference that EHS makes and how it serves to welcome new families into the program.
The video was showcased at CHOP for an Early Head Start end-of-year event and then shared via social media and embedded on the EHS website. ProCine provided all production, post and encoding for YouTube.

Pilgrimage of Immaculée
In 2015, ProCine had the honor of accompanying bestselling author Immaculée Ilibagiza to document her spiritual pilgrimage to France and Belgium and to capture the beauty and serenity of sacred shrines such as Lourdes, Lisieux, Nevers and Banneux.
We crafted this meditative film as a promotional tool for conferences and speaking engagements to help promote Immaculée’s ministry, her group pilgrimages and retreats.
